We use the information you provide to both recognize you, and to aggregate, anonymized data to better understand our members. For instance, age bands allow us to separately analyze the future from young peoples and seniors perspectives, which will naturally be somewhat different and are a pointer to changing attitudes and beliefs.
Similarly we recognize that not all people see themselves as binary males or females. LGBT, defined as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender+, is an acronym used to describe a diverse community of individuals whose sexual orientation and/or gender identity differs from the societal norm, and allows them to express their preference. Again, we use this information as a pointer to changing attitudes and beliefs among genders. This personal information is never shared except in aggregate terms with no naming of individual people.
